1. Who we are
MyCelebrityPet ("we", "us") operates the website and service at mycelebritypet.com. For questions about this policy, contact us at PeeMail@mycelebritypet.com.
2. What we collect
- Photos you upload. Images of your pet (or other subject) that you submit to generate a stylized/celebrity-style portrait.
- Generated images. The AI-generated output produced from your upload.
- Technical data. Standard web/app technical data (IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) collected automatically for security and service operation.
- Email address, if and when we introduce email collection (e.g. delivery of results, contact form submissions).
We do not currently collect precise geolocation, and we do not use geo-detection to alter the experience.
3. Why we process this data (purposes and legal bases)

For CCPA/CPRA purposes: we process the categories above for the business purposes stated; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA.
4. Who we share data with
- AI generation provider. Uploaded photos are sent to our AI API provider to produce the generated image.
- Hosting / infrastructure. Cloudflare and our storage providers process data needed to host and deliver the service.
- We do not sell personal information to third parties.
5. How long we keep things
The photo you upload is not stored. It is sent to our image provider to create your cover and is never saved to our systems.
Your free cover is kept for up to 90 days so you can come back to it, then automatically deleted.
Covers you have purchased are kept for as long as we operate, so you can download them again whenever you want. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Anonymous usage records — which cover style was chosen, when it was made, whether it was shared — are kept indefinitely so we can understand how the site is used. These do not include your photo or your cover.
6. Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your covers and records at any time by emailing oopsies@mycelebritypet.com. We will do this within 30 days.
If you have purchased a cover, deleting it means you will no longer be able to download it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Opt out of sale/sharing of personal information (not applicable — we don't sell data) and of profiling used for significant decisions, where applicable
- Data portability (EU/UK)
- Restrict or object to processing (EU/UK)
To exercise these rights, contact us at oopsies@mycelebritypet.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (e.g. 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA).
Jurisdiction-specific notes
- EU/UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): We act as data controller for the data described above.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): See categories, purposes, and rights above. We do not sell or share personal information.
- Canada (PIPEDA): We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for the purposes described, with your consent where required, and provide access/correction rights on request.
- Australia (Privacy Act): We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, including openness, access, and correction rights.
8. Children's privacy
This service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect uploaded and generated images and any personal data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes, and will provide more prominent notice for material changes.
